We have come to the end of our long-awaited 14
day stay at Ortaglia! We have both had a wonderful time in this peaceful and magical place.
The house is fantastic with great grounds and a marvellaus view of the country side.
I particulary enjoyed sitting by the pool and watching the workers in the vineyards.
We made many great trips as direct by Terenzio each morning. The maps and information given
were much appreciated and very much accurate - we didn't go wrong and learnt a lot about
italian wines and the industry. Thank you so much for opening the "1973 brunello" and sharing
the bottle with us. Thank you also for the great Tuscan/Umbrian meal you took us to. Thanks
to Maria for taking good care of us during our sta, and for all tge laughs and Conversarion
in German! This was truely a great holiday, and a great setting to find out about our first
baby expected in May 2003!Thank you once again, and we hope we see you all again very soon!

Non conoscevamo questa zona dell'Italia
così bella e rilassante. A renderla così incantevole
è certamente la tenuta Ortaglia dove vige ospitalità
e grande relax !!
Non possiamo dimenticare la golosa colazione di Maria specialmente
le bruschette con pomodoro e basilico e soprattutto la sua
gentilezza!
La precisa e utile guida del Sig. Terenzio ci ha condotti
in splendide località ed in ottimi ristoranti!

We arrived in late autumn on
a Sunday evening when it was already dark.
But in the next morning - what a difference - blue sky and
what a wonderful view from the San Donato Suite to Montepulciano,
San Biagio and Pienza.
Ortaglia imedeately made us feel very confortable and relaxed
for the next couple of days in Tuscany.
Next time we come here we would like to spend the one or the
other evening with the owner of Ortaglia talking about wine
and enjoying to taste some good bootles. Looking forward to
coming back
